Very nice sonnet in iambic pentameter. The rhyming was excellent as well as the meter. One small suggestion, though: If you phrased the 4th line as "induced my asking you to take a stroll," it would keep the iambic meter in place. Other than that, a very beautiful and heartfelt poem about your beloved wife.

Ohhh! J, my heartstrings have been plucked. I wish I was her... that woman in the poem. Why couldn't I have found a man like that who would have felt that way about me? I read these things and I'm so happy for all these brass rings that have been scattered around. All you hear about are the unhappy endings. It's nice to hear about the brass rings. :)
