This is gripping and powerful! The image really speaks to me of the awful fires here in Australia as you mention in 2019 summer. So much loss of nature, animals, homes.. Heart breaking! I like how you haven't used the word fire in this but everything in your words and presentation screams it and is because of it. A really strong contending piece with emotion and impact.

Thank you Karyn! Those horrendous fires caused untold suffering, for people as well as animals. I hate to think of animals in terror and such pain, unable to be saved. I appreciate your understanding and kind words.
