A friend mentioned once, at the funeral of her father, "Now, I have another angel to watch over me."
Nice to know a loss of one existence adds to another.

Wayne, thanks for the kind words. Another reviewer suggests poets (all writers perhaps) leave their words behind when they die - a legacy to remember them by.

For some, indeed. When I drive through Tarzana, I think of Edgar Rice Burroughs, less about Frank Herbert even as he has a couple of blockbuster movies derived from his Dune series. When that is said, I remember too well poking through the shelves of used book stores and at various yard sales seeing perfectly wonder-filled books trending toward the landfills. Can you imagine finding a training manual for the crews of artillery observer balloon crews?
