You did a great job, Irish, even though your poem was so
poignant. You led readers through your thoughts and feelings
well. I could see, and understood, everything you mentioned.
The art choice was a great addition. Thanks for the notes, too,
though they were very sad.
Thanks for sharing, Jan

Beautifully crafted with care, emotion and respect for life both past and present.
The beautiful, yet haunting image added impact and emotion to create a fine poem.

Is there a bit of Yeats to what you write. Sadness reels throughout this piece for the loved lost that never was and yet when earthly sun sets that one last time, you'll see lil Abigail just like you imagined.

Hello Irish,
What a touching poem. How very sad to lose a sibling or any member of your family before they've had a chance to make an impact in the world. You've captured the feelings of sorrow and of hope to come very well. Thanks so much for sharing.
Have a blessed evening.
Tom

This poem is so emotional, heartfelt and tender, it brings a tear to your eyes. I can see a father walking in a dream, through grass and flowers, toward his departed daughter. Your descriptions are vivid, and rhymes flow smoothly and tenderly. Stunning.

What a lovely heartfelt tribute to the spirit of a child that has passed from this world. I am sorry that I do not have six stars to give. The picture is lovely, as well. Evi

I enjoyed reading your poem and story. It's very sad but well written, straight from the heart.

It moved along nicely and it was easy to understand and follow. Thank you for sharing.

Well done, my friend.

John, chapter 5, verses 28 and 29, promises that the day is coming when all those entombed in the grave will hear the master's voice and come out, restored to life. This is a hope and a promise that I hold on to in expectation of the hopeful reunion with my dear family members who have fallen asleep in death.

wow I love it. It is a great and moving tribute to the lost of a young girl and the impact that has on the remaining family members. Here in Korea there is a local custom called the 100 day ceremony. On those days friends and family gather to celebrate the first 100 days of a baby's birth. In the old days so many babies did not make it to celebrate their 100 birthday, once they have lived that long it is likely they will survive.
