Very beautiful and it has a nice meaning and truth to it. At night, in total darkness, there are no shadows to bring you down. Nothing to see or interfere with your love. A time and place where you can be yourselves.

There is so much going on in this poem. The comparison of the swans with the twin moons--the moon being such a spiritual symbol ... and then the shadows shattering! I think of the swans' reflections and how their slightest movement would cause the reflection to shatter. You leave so much in your poem for the mind to eagerly work with.

Thank you for such a kind and specific review. You brought up yet another aspect that might have been used in a second stanza, only this contest had such a short limit.
