These few words are enough to create an atmosphere of horror and a hair-raising moment. The great short poems like the 5-7-5 are tjose which can create a picture and an atmosphere in the readers' mind. Yours does this!!

The bloody hand crept
Where the woman soundly slept
To her throat...it leapt!
-Perfect syllable count for each line, and you went the extra mile with the end rhymes. Great visuals, and having the victim be a woman, adds to the sense of vulnerability and horror. Good presentation too.
