Aching for a six here. There are very few on our site that can construct a perfect Nonet. You have in this exquisite offering. A Nonet is not just syllable poetry it is form poetry. The edge must be gradual from 9 to 1. Beautifully penned, my dear.
Sending you my best today as always,

Thank you very much Sally. I wondered why you had not entered nor mentioned this one because of your long history with the Nonet on the Nines... I really appreciate your words!!

I like how you used ellipses to make the fifth line fit into the triangle! This poem is very evocative and reads in a fluttery and imaginative way, much like a bluebird.

Lovely nonet. I've never tried to write one, but it couldn't have been easy. I loved the way it fit together so beautifully with the structure and the picture. Good luck!

Extraordinary. What a beautiful overall presentation.
Perfect shape to the nonet.
Such easy flow line to line; nothing forced. I found it interesting that as I started reading line 3 my heart rate and reading speed accelerated (the pace of the poem picking up) until I got to the end of the poem. Exceptional!
Love the rhyme within the poem.

Ciao poet! You now have 4 votes.
These bluebirds remind me of our barn swallows which are small with steel-blue coloured upperparts.
Those that have the luck and a couple build their nest under your balcony , are considered blessed.
Anyone that removes a nest , is said to be cursed.
Keep safe!

Well done poet. It is said they fly over rainbows. I would not expect to see them in Aust. too many wild birds here. I loved your poem, it made me think of blue for healing and their quickness in flight. A European bird I believe. K xx

you nailed the form and I liked it. Inspired me to come up with my own entry -later today perhaps = something about seeing the deer in the woods looking at me

A lovely animal nonet for the writing prompt. I love bluebirds and we do have some who nest in our backyard. Today I watch two at our feeders and like you it fills my heart to see them.
Blessings
