-Very nice artwork and your note is appreciated.
-A well written nonet with a good topic.
-Good syllable count and shape.
-Effective imagery that describes
your anticipation and love of bluebirds.
-Very good closing lines show how
seeing a glimpse of them makes you feel,
and then you "see if bluebirds nest near me."
-A good entry; good luck, and have a great New Year!!!

This is a lovely poem. The author's words are clear, descriptive and
creative. I pondered on this nature scene and how beautiful it is. Nature
many times alone bring me peace. The poem flows and connects well.
The artwork is awesome and compliments these words.
Happy New Year!....Maria

Neat! We have Mountain Bluebirds here in Wyoming, they stop and get seeds from our ripe sunflowers. I think they must nest outside of town, they just seem to pass through. Doves, Robins, Sparrows, and Starlings all nest here, and the occasional woodpecker.
Good work, liked your pyramid word construction.

Thank you Irish... this form, the Nonet, has a rule that the lines must be in a certain syllable order... its a challenge for sure ! :)

This is a lovely poem and the image is perfect for it. Both have a very light hearted feel. I've never actually seen a bluebird but still hope to. Good luck in the contest. Happy New Year.

Bluebirds have that effect on me too. They're so adorable. I really enjoyed your poem. I like the rhythm and it has a good rhyme scheme. Good job and good luck to you.

I've never seen a bluebird, but then I live in a country perhaps they cont migrate to, but I've seen photos, such a beautiful blue colour, and excellent nonet entry in this contest, good luck, and a HNY. Blessings Roy

An excellent nonet with lovely imagery and heartfelt emotion. The joy of it! It is in the slowing down that we delight in the gifts of nature. Well done. Best wishes for the new year.

I was under the impression that a nonet started with nine syllables and then went gradually down to one not the other way round - see Poetry Dances. I would check this before the contest cut-off date just in case as this is a cute poem, which reads well.
