A very clever piece of dialogue fiction which is both heart-warming (despite the weather!) and believable! Rounded off with a perfect final line. Well done and good luck, Debbie

Very good story, and reflects the state of mind of millions of head-in-the-cloud husband's ( and that includes me!)
Very well written.
Congratulations for your great ranking!

Lol. So close to my own experiences here (apart from being snowed in! ) He often comes home with different things! Your humorous dialogue is well written, and very true to life! Best wishes for the contest.

This is cute. You're lucky it isn't your husband unless you mean the handsome part Most men would assume we call for a reason and not just because we want to hear their voice. Almost all of the men would forget what you ask for unless they wrote it down, and a lot of them would forget to remember you wanted anything.

This dialogue-only story, The Forgetful Husband, is a fun exchange between forgetful husband and the forgiving wife. I know that being a handsome fellow comes in handy.

Lol. And even if it were not fictional, you'd still love your husband! That's funny and I can see my hubby doing something like this. He definitely would prefer ice cream and cake over cabbage soup!
Best wishes in the contest!!

An endearing story played out in dialogue only and it works beautifully. By their conversation alone we see their love and affection for each other, her ready forgiveness, and his sense of humor. Thanks for sharing your story with us. Good luck in the contest.

I got a real kick out of your dialogue-only story. I am glad it is fictional, as this would be a bad thing to happen in real life. I am glad your husband isn't like this really. Thanks for sharing, and best wishes to you.
