That was a brilliant idea, Miranda! Aaron is okay with it and so far so is Mitch. You are an effective go-between.

I can't wait to find out just who is in the cars at the bottom of the pond, Gretchen. Look at me. Talking to Miranda just like she is a real person. Like I said, I love your story. Good Job, Gretchen

Well, Miranda seemed to have everything figured out, Gretchen,
until the guys gave their opinions. I believed she was right
to report the potential bodies to Mitch. It seemed like Mitch
finally saw and felt something romantic for Miranda. I believed
Waylon was a bit jealous and worried about sharing Miranda's
attention and love with someone else. She did good with her
idea to include Aaron in the future search of the pond. I believe
you will find a great storyline to continue this one.
Thanks for sharing, Jan

You know your characters so well! You were balanced in your description of Aaron's reaction to Miranda's "selling him out", as he put it. But you took the description of his reaction to a new level by showing him feeling violated at a deep level. I think it was because he had personal feelings for Miranda that required a kind of emotional equality ... but she suddenly went parental on him. I think that was the basis of his pouting. And I think he realized that their "equality" was forever destroyed.

At least that's my take on Aaron.

That is, indeed, his reaction. He's a tad jealous of Mitch and now Mitch had invaded their little clique. Doubt he'll hold a grudge but for a while he'll lick his wounds. Thank you so much for this awesome review. And special thanks for the six. Gretchen

"The road to hell is paved with good intentions," a saying that's new to me, but words I'm never forget. Makes me wonder how many good intentions I've ever had while churning out those pavers. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

When I saw you post in my box, I had to make a decision, my dryer just beeped, read or end up ironing clothes. I'll end up ironing clothes, but it's worth it. Thank you for sharing this with us, me. LOL I liked 'after too short of kiss'.

I sit down across from them. (you can omit 'down' it's understood)

Great chapter, Gretchen! Now we're getting to the nitty-gritty, and I can't wait for the next, which I'm sure will be soon, lol. You write fast, and I tend to poke along. I'm not too fond of deadlines. I hope Aaron stays out of the way of the dive team, but I feel something brewing here that isn't going down too well. Loved it! Best, JohnC

Another terrific chapter. And, once again, all the characters remain true to their natures and believable. You've moved the progress along nicely, and I am as curious as Waylon and Aaron about what's down there. I have a sneaking suspicion there might be a little more than ANYONE bargained for...and I'm thinking the new discovery might lead back to Miranda's nemesis, Missy. But maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part!! I'm staying tuned.

It can be a rocky road trying to do the right thing, and occasionally one misjudges what to do, but I suspect Miranda will put it right, she's got a tough job playing big sister, mother to two fairly immature boys, and no a budding love affair between Waylon and Aaron, well done Greatchen, blessings Roy

Hey, this was so well written and put together. I can't remember if you have already been published but all this should be put in a book. Even Mini series or movie material. No spags.

I have self published three books. 2 did pretty well but one hit the floor dead. Thank you so much for this nice compliment. I appreciate it. Gretchen

She was right to let Mitch know, as otherwise A would be in a heap of trouble, as well as traumatised. I think A is a bit jealous as well which won't have helped his mood. Excellent writing, realistic and engaging.

I believe Aaron is a smidgen jealous as well. But he at least has enough common sense not to act on it. Thanks so much for this cool review. Gretchen
