Your poem illustrates just how quickly the months go by. The reminds me of a movie I love, "Holiday Inn," in which the inn was open only on the holidays. Excellent rhyme and flow. Good idea to begin and end with the same sentence. Good work to start off the new year. judi

Your poem is delightful. Bright idea and the rhyme makes the read smooth.
The first 4 lines are my favourtie.
Personally, I think you should have taken the time to add some artwork.
I have been told that poetry should be without but I still would have loved t a splash of colour.

This is a jaunty little poem taking you thoughtout the years with the holidays, some of which aren't days we when everyone takes off and we don't get mail. All the month got recognized except August where you took your break.
