This is a great introduction of what is to follow. The expectation is an eclectic offering of prose and poetry which will reassemble the observations from this place in a way that both informs and entertains.

Door imagery and metaphors present many story lines. So Albufeira in Portugal is a real place. I am going to suggest that you eliminate the word 'silliness' and the phrase 'sort of' in the second paragraph and keep a focus on what ought to be a memorable series. Nice read.

You say in your note section a SHORT preface.
I love the idea of Doors of Albufeira cause behind each door there will be a story to tell , there will be people to meet or a topic to be explored.
That said I thought the preface was long ... the second paragraph not essential .. ( you yourself called it silliness) but that's just my personal opinion.
Tastes differ.
I m looking forward to reading about your stay in

What about opening and shutting the doors to the past? When someone knock on you door and you don't know who it is does it run through your mind about stranger danger never open your to one.

The preface to your book sounds interesting. I like the subject you have chosen - Doors. It will be interesting to read each chapter as you post it. I like your beginning: "It is said, when one door closes, another opens. I believe doors open and close for a reason and with purpose."
