Hello, Jesse,
Friendship is so important and so is human touch. After my divorce I lived alone for 10 years and I rarely had human touch. In 2018 I moved in with my daughter, son-in-law and grandson. I'm so much happier and healthy. I'm glad you both got to visit and plan to go for walks on the beach..my favorite place. Well done.

Hello Gypsy. Yes, that hug we shared meant the world to me and I suspect David benefitted from it as well. Touch is so important and I am glad you are with your family and get hugged and touched often. And yes, David is the one who inspires me to go forward and someday walk on the beach!

I expect David looked forward to and enjoyed your meeting every bit as much as you Jesse. Especially when he hugged first I hope he has recovered from his bout with Covid. It left me with a deep hacking cough and an impaired sense of taste, I cleared the cough up with a good cough medicine, but the only taste I have is of sweet things. So, I have two spoonsful of sugar in my coffee and tea and enjoy it immensely. I will pray for your return to strength Jesse. You've been through the mill and your determined efforts to stay positive are worthy of every kind of help and assistance. I don't need to tell you to be brave; just keep on keeping on and you'll get there. cheers Cass

Thanks, Cass for sharing your thoughts and feelings about Covid and how it made you feel. I feel brave and intend to get there to the final destination...walking without the aid of a walker on the beach with my Buddies.

Hi Mike. Please don't fear the awkwardness instead embrace it and you will find that it will go away after a little while and then the friendship will blossom maybe overnight!
This is what happened to me and I am glad it did!

So far so good as far as staying healthy is concerned I have been watching my weight and eating right and almost ready to take those baby steps and walk to the nature trails and beach of my dreams!
