Sometimes there's a connection that words can explain, but it's what is in the heart that really comes through.

My son had a friend like that. They saw each other maybe twice a year, but as soon as they were together it's like their last conversation picked up where they left off

Aw, this is so wonderful to read and so hopefull! I had the same kind of reunion with one of my bridesmaids. We had lost touch when I married and my husband and I moved to New York. I'd lost touch with many of my friends during that decade. But like you, I reunited with her after forty years and we made up for lost time. I'm hopeful you will be walking soon, Jesse! I am happy for you, Roy that you have the privilege of friendships as well as both of your daughters. Many of us are not close to our family so our friends are doubly important to us.
