Congratulations on your win. I should have reviewed this when it paid. My bad. I do like the juxtaposition of peaceful doves versus war. Also good use of alliteration.

Dramatic contrast of the "dream of doves" (great alliteration and use of symbolism) and waking to a "world at war."
Congratulations!! Well deserved win!!

Congratulations on you win of the 5-7-5 poetry contest. Your creative wording demonstrates thoughts of our modern day world, where war and disagreement rule, and peace is at a premium. Your chosen artwork enhances your message.

This is a great poem for today's world. I, too, dream of a world without war, though that still still seems a far-off dream. Dove is a good symbol for words and picture.

What a tragic, powerful statement you have managed to put together and pull to execution in your mere seventeen syllables. This is quite an achievement. kay

When we awaken with open eyes, do we remember the mourning doves in our dreams? Or are the dreams consisting of worldly war instead the beauty of the song, "on the wings of the dove?"

Excellent use of words that speaks to the reader. Doves are a symbol of peace and your poem reminds me of the war in Ukraine. Excellent 5-7-5 form and feelings and emotions arise from your words.

This is so beauteous and sad
at the same time. The outbreak of wars seem to be
neverending. The youth pay
the highest price. My very
best wishes for the contest.
Many blessings to you and
your family. `

In a war torn country how many people have had a dream like this? My heart goes out to the people who have suffered the affects of war, lost loved ones, and live in fear. Few words that say so much.
