Well written. You had a great creative imagination even way back then.
I remember that day, it was sad and confusing. You also had big dreams. Never give up on your dreams. Sometimes they change over time. Always keep dreaming, most can become reachable. I have a saying on my wall that reads:
DREAM UNTIL YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE.

We're you really 8 years old in 1977? Hmmmmmm

I answered my age in messages, cause that's not for everybody. Most of them think I am a 21 year old Swashbuckler! Ha! I created this contest because Elvis' daughter just passed. I have always enjoyed his music.

It seems to me that you have so much more to tell about your childhood.
I liked this. The imagery was very good.
You left the reader wondering about "the monster".
If this was a book, you led me on well.
Nice job.

A Very Real Conversation and Magnum PI Was My Dad covered a lot about the Monster. Both very draining pieces and difficult to write, but theraputic on some level. Thanks for your review!

Well, although this isn't exactly about Elvis, it does contain all the contest requirements.

I see that there is another theme that dominates this story. It being a true account, I can't say as I blame you for that.

Good luck to you, and good luck in the voting.

Where I was, what I was doing, and what my thoughts were. There could be no other story unless I fictionalized it. Thanks for your review, my perceptive friend.
