I agree with the first two lines of your poem, but I'm skeptical about the third. In general, I think the number of stars is often meaningless, and I wish there was only rating to be given--either a limited number of 6-star ratings per week for really exceptional work, or no stars at all.
There is no real consistency to the number of stars given to works now. I, myself give mostly 5s, with very occasional 4s for things that really need a lot of work, and usually the allotted number of 6s.
Far more important to me are the critical reviews where you either get suggestions from others or give suggestions to others. These, I believe, are the things that make us better writers.

I think my last line agrees with you. Stars are earned. The parameters for the rating system is flawed. I have received 3 Stars on 5-7-5 writings because someone wanted to totally rearrange my message to suit their preference. The work met all the prompts correctly. There is the subjective and objective cleansing that gets confused. Works that need great attention should not automatically receive a 5 star. Many reviews today have little thought put into them and just fill in the required 150 characters. Honestly, I am at fault at times as one line poems and similar often times don`t require such a wordy review. It either hits the prompt or it doesn`t. I`m getting a little wordy but the hidden message I tried to put into the 3-5-3 was exactly to your point.. A six star has to do something emotionally for me, laugh, cry, whatever. Appreciate your thoughts. I believe we agree.

I believe we do. I seldom enter reviews for short poems for the reasons you stated, but occasionally I do when they are clever or thought-provoking. Yours was.
