That's a beautiful story! I like how the devoted king came up with an ingenious substitute for snow. The important thing is that the queen saw his love in that effort.

This is a nice story of the true love the King had for his Queen. When she became home sick for the land she grew in, the King took it upon himself to correct it by planting 1000's of almond trees reminding her of home.
The manner and wording used, I felt like I was there.

Well this is the 1st time I've seen this and I must say it's a very sweet and tender Reed I wish Everyone could feel such grace and love between each other by the world it would be then. You're writing it's eloquence Well written and full of imagery. I wanting to be home and in familial surroundings. I would imagine those with loved ones and feel the same way. Having said all that it gave me a lovely and sweet feeling and I quite enjoyed it From the 1st word to the last word so thank you so much for submitting this again and for me the 1st time it's a wonderful read!
