Poetry surely gives some peace of mind and helps relax the brain as we penned down our thoughts, feelings and fears. Well done dear Jay. Note that your poems turn our heads as your charm did to ladies in your prime.

Perhaps because I share some of your experience, I loved what you wrote as well as how skillfully you wrote it. "Time has come to go" caught me up in your intent -- time comes with the purpose of going, or time has come for you to go. Either way, effective. Meant as a double entendre, brilliant. Thank you for this gem.

And I'm sure you're still turning the ladies' head with your words.
Writing- stories, poetry, commentaries- is not only fun and rewarding, in my experience, but time flies by in the process and at the end of a day of writng - if I can stand up and make my stiff legs move - it feels good to have accomplished something creative. So ... I can identify with your poem.

Well done young man. I can't think of life without it. Keeps the grey-matter spinning and makes us feel needed and respected. WE also make friends all over the world and it takes 11 seconds to reach another country. I loved your thoughts on poetry my friend. K xx
