using poetry as something to hold onto while in a transitioning period in your life is something I can very much relate to. During my transition into college is when I first began writing poetry and it's help my articulate many of my thoughts and feelings

If we're fortunate, we age. With aging, we all think about what used to be, and what we used to be able to do. In your case, one of the things was turn ladies' heads. If we're fortunate, as we age we find other activities that give us pleasure. In your case, it's poetry. I'm glad you write and share your work on FanStory.

Poetry is very wonderful got getting out of the feelings that are buried inside. It helps the writer to speak what they truly feel and if they are lucky and share it, they will help others with their words as well.

I don't write poetry but I do get comfort in writing. Not all my writing gets posted as some of it is to personal.
The writing makes j my e feel better and helps with problems. At least for me.
