I really enjoyed reading this poem about poetry. It is such a joy to be creative. My biggest passion has always been dancing but the time has come where I can no longer do it but writing poetry will be my pleasure till the end.

That was a surprising poem, Jay.
I loved the line that said, "it caught both men and women's eyes." It just made me giggle. Then you said, "enjoy comfort, po'etry pays." and it all came into context.
Maybe someday I'll get brave and try and make some of my poetry pay.

You are a very good poet. Rhyming poetry is my favorite style, too. I'm not a poet, but I do enjoy reading a well-written poem. I'm seventy-six, and the poetry of my young years was mostly of the rhyming type.

Love the closing line, 'I'll seek joy in po'etic glow.' It made me smile as it is relatable. Comfort is found in writing and reading poetry indeed. Thanks so much for sharing your lovely poem.
