This is so well written. I feel like you, too, we love Him and adore Him today and always. He is a miracle of a lifetime. We have been so blessed with His care and love.

I wish I had a six, because it would be yours. Your writing touched me, because I feel the same way. You did a wonderful job, and I didn't see one error. I wish you the best in the contest. Have a great day. Shirley

This is a good but long entry to this contest. The text is a great size. The message is clearly stated, but in parts you ramble and repeat yourself. I like that you tried to divide your piece into the three things you would ask God. The sorry section was more clearly developed. The thank you and I love you sections were more intermingled. For me, if they were as clearly presented as the "I'm Sorry" section it would be better.
Your visual is okay. I wish you luck in the contest.

Thank you Sandra for reviewing, and I appreciate your points. I knew the Thank You and I love You sections were intertwined, but for me they belong together as each leads to the other.
I am looking at it again to see how to improve it. Thanks again.

You are welcome. I understand why you mixed them, but some separation would be good.

A fine summary statement of where you are and we should be as the twilight sets upon our seas. If He exists and we keep our covenants, all will be well, and for those that don't do either, I wonder, if he'll show pity.
Likely, especially for those who never got to know Him, like infants leaving life to early to be introduced, and places like India, Dark Africa, and other places about the globe.

Thank you Tom. I am sure each one is considered with His mercy and love. But those of us who have heard the gospel need to believe in His Son.

You three primary phrases seem excellent messages to God. I was pleased to read what makes you sick about the world - if only all like-minded people could band together, we could do so much. kay

This is such a beautiful and heartfelt prayer! I think we should always be saying these "Three Things" to our Heavenly Father everyday. It will prepare us to see Him when He calls us Home.

Thank you very much. I agree with you. (There are so many who have the audacity to abuse a holy God for the sins of mankind, not knowing anything about His character. Many others think of Him merely as a source of fulfilling their own wishes too.)

I felt you made quite a few good points throughout your post on your conversation with God.
When someone believes itsxeasy to do so. Others more difficult.
Good luck in the contest.

John

Thank you. Yes, my faith has been validated over many years of experience, (not always easy, and a difficult beginning), but He loves and chooses all of us to come to Him.

This was a super personal essay that had definite prayer-like qualities. It was a most excellent thing to read on a Sunday/Sabbath evening. I appreciate this part as well: please help me to listen to You better. It's fine for me to think about what I would say to You, but I need to listen to what You are saying to me! It goes both ways, doesn't it? Thank you.
Thank you much for sharing this tonight.

Highly intriguing read. You clearly have great faith, particularly in the afterlife. I appreciated the perspective from which your story was written as I thought it might be about your biological father. A great piece of writing.

Thank you so much Jacqueline! Unfortunately my earthly father fell very short of these qualities - which is probably why I appreciate them so much now. I appreciate your thoughts.
