What a lovely cuddly poem. Some should tell Princess that she shouldn't be concerned about her colour. I have always heard that ownership black cats brings good luck.

Thank you for this great review. I've always heard they were bad luck because of thier association with witches. She really is so sweet and gentle, we all adore her. Thanks again for reading my poem. :)

This is a good entry in the Best Paw contest. The text is a great size. The message is clearly stated and easily understood. The rhyme scheme is done well. Miss P's visual is cute with her owner. Good luck in the contest.

Miss P you look so comfy in the picture. Black cats always been lucky for me. Ny cat was midnight boy was he ever tough. Some one shot him but he managed to come home. I nursed hi back to health he never strayed again. He lived to a ripe ole age o 20.I miss him.

I'll have to take your son's cat's word for the good life of a cat, but I have to admit, she does look comfy on his shoulder. Heavens, from your bio photo, you don't look old enough for him to be your son. Thought it was your husband. :) don't tell him.

Hahahaha! I love it! Tall shaggy boys must have an affinity for cats! I say that because I've got one too... my son is over 6 feet, shaggy, like yours, and has the sweetest kitty. They adore each other!
I'm going to have to have him send a picture of them together so I can write my own version and you can see them. LOL

You surely did put you best paw forward. This is a delightful read. It would be a good poem for children to read. I think you could write wonderful children's poetry. I can visualize this being a children's book and it could have delightful art with it.
