Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

well, I think this rates a 6.
It has a lovely message which flows well; the picture makes the flowers look as though they are winged creatures, and then, you top it off with a surprise ending. bravo!
Best wishes in the contest.
Katharine

This "exceptional" means the world to me, as this one has been rattling around in my brain for some time. Also, I write in the more traditional haiku manner, which has changed quite a bit on this site. I love when good haiku is appreciated. You made my day.

This is a very beautiful and well written haiku you have penned for the contest. You used very good descriptive words and beautiful imagery from the art work you chose. Best wishes in the contest. Teri

-Nice artwork and presentation, Val.
-A well written haiku with effective
nature and seasonal imagery with
the flower and summer breeze.
-A very good satori line that creates
a good 'aha' moment.
-It's ironic that a flower is described like a bird!

Thank you for your "right on" review. I have wondered the same thing about the name of this flower.
