Fun verse, June. It helped me to recall those days in the 80's.. prior to marriage.. when all of the fun could be found at disco dance places. Dancing was all the rage. Well crafted and enjoyable!!

Line dancing is the rage over the Texas two step.
It was always country music and barn dances and cook out a steer or hog on the baroque spit .Oh fir the hood old days in the country

I have never seen the northern lights, but I can imagine them dancing. Lights always dance.
I like the line dance phrase. I imagine a bunch of cowboys on ice!

I never had the chance to try a line dance, though have seen and enjoyed the movements many times, the stars remind us of so many different things, very well written, best wishes for your contest****kahpot

This has a Lune poem feel too! So do you want to align your text flush left?
Regardless, your dance to the stars is ingenious writing. I especially like your phrase "cowboy shuffle" as a combo with your last line.
