We do need more music in our lives - it can tame the beast in us during these turbulent times. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

I like everything about this naani, June. I keep thinking of how you tied the image to your words through your use of "fractured." And I like the play on words (no pun intended) with your last line. Plus, there is truth in your whole premise. Music can heal, and people don't take the time to let it do its magic.
Well done.

I so agree with you. We need to play despite of current situation. Today we went to shop at Costco. They don't have any eggs. There is an egg shortage. I wonder what's next. Let's play and forgot about the pain.

Well done.

This is a verse that has depths and crevices of meaning, June. I have always loved the Naani form so that the poem, in a succinct manner, can say something worth saying... as you did here. So well done, my friend.

This naani, Music Heals, has the proper formatting and reminds the readers that music reaches where words and actions cannot seem to penetrate. ..................................

June, I very much enjoyed this Japanese poem. Your presentation was wonderful and it was an easy read even for eyes that are dim like mine are, since am losing my eyesight. Patricia

Good morning, June!
I so agree!
Music does, indeed, nurture and heal the flagging spirit.
Wouldn't it be something if our lives were accompanied by music... like in the movies? What a thought!
Your form is "spot on!"

Thank you for sharing!

I would agree with your message which is clearly conveyed in this Naani and your well-chosen title. That artwork is a perfect choice to illustrate this poem. Now if this "fractured society" would only listen to you. Rod
