Hi Brett, I see it's difficult to let go of Fanstory's CEC, but is it worth it, I wonder? Now you're starting on yet another Cody story.
To be honest, I'm still waiting for the ending of your biography. All best, Ulla :)))

I assume this Lab name Bubby doesn't have anyone who claims him at the moment. He has his own book but since Cody's picture is there, I am imagine at some point he will connect with Cody. I'll be checking in to see. He seems capable of obtaining his own food but human food is something he would not turn done.

Seemingly?
"The Call of the Starving Wild?"
Rich in Theme and Imagery.
...
I dig the snout and paw part figuring a young and abandoned wolf just getting by barely.
This also, read well and Flowed well with no Grammar Issues.
...
I can smell a hotdog on the grill a mile away.
If your still famished?

Llano Escarpment, I have visited that area. It is pretty. The story I am getting ready to start writing, not posting, it yet, it's not even started, just taking notes and doing research. I would call it more in the panhandle area in Texas not west Texas, but I have not lived there. I live in central Texas, or in hill country.

Thank you for sharing this with us. I can't wait to read more and am already hooked. A few years ago, I owned two Labrador retrievers, one yellow and one black. They were great dogs. Perfect for raising boys with.

What a fascinating story Brett, as seen through the eyes of a sharp written carnivore, with a healthy fear of two legged folk. I thought for a moment that it was you who liked the freedom of poem territory, well done, an excellent post my friend, very readable, blessings Roy

Nice beginning of a story. You got my attention. I like the fact it's from the viewpoint of the dog. You did a great job as usual, and I am ready to read more of it. Have a great Sunday. Shirley

I like the perspective of the dog. Love his visual rendering of his surroundings. He relys on his nose and hearing and the way dogs sense safety or danger. Is Bubby the name of the dog? Very interesting start. I look forward to more. Gretchen
