I found the author's words extremely creative! The first two lines flow
and connect well. The last line says it all! I pondered on these words and
thought about my 6 year old grandson and how I have moments of gratitude. Our children and children are our little stars as the author states in the last line of this poem. The artwork is awesome! Great Poem!

When I read poems about family just sometimes for 1/2 a second I feel I might have missed out on something wondrous in life. But then I shrug off the notion.
Parents certainly see their off spring as tiny bright stars.. I understand that ..after all ... it's a life created with the person you love .
They are precious
There is also the broader meaning
they will succeed in life.
I do see children as Angels , another popular word used to describe them.
Actually , they can be little monsters , extremely cruel amongst themselves and they want everyone to run around them and fuss over them.
The photo obviously inspired the poem. Your words will warm many hearts on fanstory.
You don't hear often the term : looking glass.. usually it's an object that takes a character to another dimension or a parallel world .. why did you choose it?

Good question, camera is a word that has a singular meaning whereas, `looking glass` offers a much broader sense of what can be visualized and understood. Our children (anyone really) are sophisticated and complex entities that a simple snapshot via a camera only provides a moment in time. The `looking glass` offers an inner extension of that moment. Thanks for reading and your thoughts

Curious on the reason for 4 stars with such a nice review and fulfilling the prompt. Subjective or objective? I am curious. I guess you?re saying just OK for both pic and words. Odd.
