Loved your poem, especially the unusual break between lines - putting 'Sound' on the same line as its rhyme.
I watched the "Amazing Didgeridoo" video. I thought it would have different notes, not just the one, so that was surprising. If ever I'm privileged enough to visit Australia, I'd like to hold a didgeridoo and try playing it.

Ciao!
Thank you , I am glad you enjoyed the read and that you noticed I intentionally wanted sound starting and ground finishing in the middle line .
I love the primordial sound ... not having holes like other wind instruments it?s up to the player s skill to produced variations ( the notes) the nuances .. it?s not an easy instrument to play .
Also how the instrument is produced thanks to the white ants or termites hollowing the tree trunk is so unique.
I read that in their culture aboriginal women are not allowed to play the didgeridoo.
I?m in bed now .. here in my country ( Italy) it?s 21.00 but tomorrow I will post you another video with my PC where the player makes the sounds of the animals seem real ..
Thank you for the lovely review!

A pulsing hum, what fitting words. I am Australian and have heard the didgeridoo many times. A fine effort. Best of luck in the competition. Thankyou for sharing your thoughts.

I love the sound.. Years ago I watched The Wave and the didgeridoo made that eerie sound , it gave me chills.
The sound reminds me of the earth , of primordial time.
Thank you for the kind review!

Fascinating what you come up with. I have heard this instrument played but didn't know its origins. The last clip provided was the best as it demonstrated the many sounds when using different methods of blowing air into the piece.

Glad you found it of interest .. I love the sound .. each truck ..usually a eucalyptus tree ..makes one didgeridoo.
Only native men play it .. women are not allowed.
I love the sound of the dog barking .. it?s so eerie.
