Sandra,
I'm glad you're doing better!
Your prose piece is informative and told in a familiar way. I really like it.
Get completely well soon, Sandra.
Blessings, friend,
Cindy.

Thank you, Cindy. I'm slowly getting there. I'm hoping it wont be too long before I can go for a long walk. I still get breathless at times, so to be able to walk as far as I did before all this started, will be wonderful. Thanks for such a lovely reply. Love and hugs, Sandra xx

Hooray! I'm delighted to hear of your improving health, Sandra!
I hope your weather is better than it is here. We're nice s far as the temperature goes - about 60 degrees right now, but it's wet and bone-chilling. Texas is weird that way. The thermometer doesn't tell the whole story EVER. lol. And I remember that, when I was in London a LONG time ago, it was wonderful. Of course, that was in June. We left our airport in Austin to an oven-baking 106 degrees and landed at Heathrow. Folks were complaining about the 'heat wave' but it was only 89 degrees. We just laughed.
Anyhow, continue to improve!
Blessings and long-distance hugs,
Deb

Thank you, Debs. I'm glad too!!! Lol.

I don't think I could ever live in temperatures that high, it wasn't even that when we lived in Spain. I think the highest we had it was just over the 100, but that wasn't the norm, 90ish was probably what it was like in the height of the summer, June - July - August. Other than that it was in the 80s, Here in the UK, to go into the 80s, we regard it to be a heatwave. But, these last couple of years, we've had some hot droughts, everything was wilting or dying. At the moment it's really cold.
Thanks again, my friend. Big hugs, Sandra xxx

We're in the middle of ANOTHER drought here. We always seem to be 'in the middle' of one. I'm not sure how the math on that works. Shouldn't it move one way or another at least at some point in time? lol
I didn't know you lived in Spain. Besides Greece, that was my son's favorite place in Europe. (Is Greece in EU? Hmm...)
Glad you're better, even if the weather isn't!
    Blessings and hugs, sweet Snadra..

Good to hear Sandra onward and upward for the rest of 2023
Our health is the most important thing and as we age things seem to set it but exercise is important but take it easy and just do what you can everyday
Yesterday I gardened and did heaps but today I can't be bothered to do anything much so I will catch up on you book
Always a good read
Cheers Chris x

I know what you mean about working hard one day and not wanting to do anything the next day. The thing with gardening is, you can see what you've done and feel satisfied.
Thank you for your message, my friend. I am going to take it steady, as you say, we age things do happen and a little exercise, in moderation, helps. I hope you enjoy the catching up. Love you lots, Sandra xxx

Hi Sandra,

I said it before, don't feel the need to rush back too soon. You have a great following on site so folk will wait for their instalments, just make sure you're fully up to it.

All the best & hugs
G

Hi Gareth, thank you. I'm just spending an hour, sometimes it creeps up to two hours, a day on here. I need to keep my brain from freezing up again, lol. I'm still having a few problems but I'm still popping the pills they've put me on. To get back into the story I read the last few chapters again and found a huge error. I'd placed my two villains in two different places at the same time. I know now that's when the infections were taking me over. I sat and talked it over with Graham, he's my sounding board and comes up with some good suggestions sometimes, and my villains now have two more brothers. I checked with Rupert's story about his kidnapping, and there were a few men involved, so it works, and can give me an interesting scene later in the story.
As to my following on site, I've been incredibly moved by the amount of caring, concerned messaged I've received, all saying what you have about taking my time. I won't overdo it, Graham won't let me!! I have a chapter finished now. I'm hoping I've not made many errors. I had Graham read it aloud to me, I'm going to do that all the time now, it's a great way to pick up errors.

I've just realised I've almost used up my hour writing this novel to you!!! Lol. Thank you, my friend. :)) Huge hugs, Sandra

You've still got your humor which hurrying your healing. It is a matter of attitude: "I think he added the 'cute' as life insurance! Lol)" Prayers and well wishes and healing energy work.

Thank you, my friend. I do feel more positive now that my doctor has said he's pleased with me. Yes, I agree with you, a sense of humour does help with the healing. And the prayers, they are the best medicine of all. Bless you for yours. Love and hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Sandra, thank you for the update. I am so glad you are recovering nicely, and will be able to get back to working on your book. You are right. Prayer works. May you continue to have faith that God will restore your body to the way He intended it to function.

Well, this is the first I have heard of it. You likely are not on my Buddy list. That said though, good luck and watch out for whatever it is they have planned for your next.

Thank you, Tom. It's hard to keep up with everyone on here, so don't worry about it. I'm seeing so many new names now, which is good for Tom, your namesake. Warm hugs, Sandra xx

Thank you, Bill! I'm still taking it slowly and will be glad when it's not such an effort to do anything. Thank you for your kind wishes, and the golden star that's shining down on me. I have some catching up to do, and will definitely get caught up with yours. Lots of love, my friend, Sandra xxx

I'm so glad to hear you're feeling better. I've seen now nasty covid can be. My brother had it combined with pneumonia. We thought we were going to lose him, but by some miracle he pulled through. He's doing fine now and I'm sure you will be too, very soon. Take care.

Hi, Cindy, people don't realise what Covid can do, or how it affects the body for a long time after the virus has gone. It was the after affect that allowed all the other infections to come into my body, which in turn gave me sepsis, which was the very dangerous one. Now I have to spend goodness knows how long, getting back to full health. But I am slowly starting to improve, at least my doctor is pleased. That gave me a lot of confidence.
I'm so pleased your brother came through it and survived. That must have been such a relief to you and your family. Thanks, my friend. Love and hugs, Sandra xxxx

Oh it's so great to hear that you are on the mend and hope to start posting again. You're a fighter and I believe you will make a full recovery, even if it takes time. But you should take your time. Once I pushed a little too much in physical therapy and almost reinjured my knee. Listen to the docs and follow the plan. One suggestion: when you post, do a synopsis of the previous chapter to refresh our memory of the story so far. estory

Thank you, Estory, yes, I am a fighter, and won't give in to it. But you're right about overdoing it, I went for a little walk with my husband, and was surprised that I couldn't get as far as I'd hoped. I have to take slowly. It's never ending!
As for the short synopsis, that's a very good idea and I'll do that. IN actual fact, I had to go back a few chapters to get myself back into it. And I wrote it!!!! Lol. Thank you, my dear friend. Love and hugs, Sandra xxx
