This is very cleverly written. I do think it may be a perfect story for this contest. I do wish you good luck. The concept of the driven writer to write a story at all costs to meet the deadline for a contest is wonderfully executed...so to speak. Exceptional writing. Terry.

Great story. Great descriptive words throughout your story creating the action. I found this to be an enjoyable read, and interesting at the same time. The imagery that you created by using the descriptions, great job using that, and the flow of your words were done perfectly to create this wonderful story. I liked your last line especially, it was funny in kind of a satire way, when he it was supposed to be a horror contest instead of a rediculous action piece. Great way towards the ending of your story. Thank you for sharing.
