Of all the prompts I read, yours cut like a knife. The picture was terribly wrong, ,meaning it was just the right one to express the agony. I had my entry but I voted for you on this one. Good work.

Wow, thank you for the great review and giving up your own vote, Kaiku. Too often I feel like the man in the picture. Fentanyl took my daughter 5 months ago. If I had know she was messing with that crap, I would have taken her away from there. I really appreciate the stars and support, Kaiku. Thanks again.

So sad to have to go through that. But it is true the last words stick with you forever.death keeps no schedule we can't always be there at that precise moment in time.

Thank you for the great review, Barb. She was 36 and into very dangerous drugs apparently. If I had known, I would have clearly taken her away from that whole mess. 5 months later and I still can't forgive myself. I really appreciate the gracious stars, B. Thank you again.

This is a powerful entry in the "Seven Words or Less" poetry contest. The text is a great size. The message is clearly stated and easily understood. It is a parent's nightmare and is heartbreaking. Very emotive message!
The visual fits perfectly. Good luck in the contest.

Great contest entry. I like how you emphasized the word Daddy, with the punctuation. Good job with that. Nicely done. Great photo to go with your poem. Thank you for sharing.

The grief in that one statement is extremely powerful. It reminds me of the Hemingway poem. Baby shoes, for sale, never worn. What a wonderfully written entry.

Good luck in the contest!
Have a great day, and God bless.

Thank you for the great review and big sixer, Mike. It was 5 months ago. She was 36 and messing with dangerous drugs. I didn't even know or I would have gotten her out of there. Now my baby's gone. I really appreciate the generous rating and good luck wishes, friend. I'm glad you liked the piece. Have yourself a great day as well and thank you again.
