I guess I was expecting something that's a little more dynamic. Of course, it's concise, but it doesn't move me or pull on my heartstrings. It doesn't have that "WOW!" factor. I can't offer any suggestions because this is a rather difficult task. Good luck!

Forgive and forget is advice with an impact, and even with the title your poem is seven words. It is a concise comment on self-improvement. I wish you the best in the contest.

For such a short poem, this is very thought-provoking and not at all trite. Forgiving then forgetting is indeed very freeing. They free the mind from dwelling on past transgressions by others, often with accompanying bitterness, and instead allow you to move on and occupy your mind with more positive and constructive things. This promotes better mental health and doesn't put an end to a relationship.

All that in just 7 words. Well done!

This is a good entry in the "Seven Words or Less" poetry contest. The text is a great size. The message is clearly stated and easily understood. However, forgetting and forgiving are both difficult tasks to do, especially if one was mistreated as a child. As a former educator, I have seen my share of damaged children. Some were in counseling and others were just disruptive and angry.
For better spacing in the poem box, I would drop the first line down one space, so the bottom and top line have even space around them.
The visual is just okay. Good luck in the contest.
