I like your creative approach , instead of describing what you cherish most in a woman or man you did it in reverse.
With examples you tell us how bleak and empty your life has become without the woman you love and those things she contributes that gives your life meaning.
a song without melody
absent of lyrics
meaning a woman is joy , harmony , beauty offers emotions that make you feel alive.
a breath of air hard fought
life`s cruel vacuum
Meaning women offer companionship , support , loyalty, empathy and many other things.
I remember in a similar contest a reviewer gave me a 4 star review because I too offered the reverse .
Hopefully that drag of a woman doesn't read your poem.

This was disqualified from the contest for being too short. But you understood what my approach was. Thanks. I was docked points by a reviewer on my 67 story because they said it wasn?t really a flash story. They didn?t see it as multiple little Flash writings. This person is a top writer. I thought it was being narrow minded.

Ciao , I went to check the requirements asked in this contest and it says from 100 to 1000 words .
Okay so it was less than a 100 but didn't the committee give you a chance to add more if you wanted ?
Your 67 story is a multiple of little Flash stories...wth?
I don't get it why didn't this top writer just opt not to review rather than give you a low rating that has nothing to do with the content even.

I once heard a statement that a face without freckles is like a nighttime sky without stars. I thought that was very thoughtful and sometimes I will see a child with freckles and I will playfully say to them that quote. Patricia.
