This Naani made me wish I'd been there in the olden days. There must have been so much wonderful poetry written that didn't survive until today. Just like now. How few people will read so much of what we write. How sad! kay

This work has reached the exceptional level

Very nicely done. I have read some of Lorca's poems in translation. Not an ideal way, for so many of the nuances of language are lost. However, your poem condenses the sense and origins of his poetic impulse beautifully.

    I know what you mean about how much is lost in translation... I read Japanese haiku translated to English and it definitely loses the magic.
