Great poem. Great description with the first line. I could feel the calming morning. I liked the last line also, love comes to me. I haven't read much of the zen haiku, however yours was a charming and enjoyable read. The artwork that you used went just perfect with your poem. Good choice for your artwork. The flow of your words, you did a great job with the presentation, and to create the feeling of the calming moring. Thank you for sharing.

This is a good, simple, haiku... but it leaves me wanting so much more! I understand that is probably the point. However, have you considered a series of haiku poems that can be read independently, but together tell a story?
