I know what you mean. I'm married to a psychologist and he says dreams are a combination of our hopes and fears and the unprocessed thoughts of the day. Haunting in this form and aptly illustrated.

I agree. Glad to know a professional says so. A few times, I knew without a doubt a dream was a message from God. Thanks for telling me this, Sally.

Yep, they hang around for me too. The scriptures say old men will dream dreams, young men will have visions. Well, I had my share of the young men's stuff and now I have my share of dreams. Glad the Lord is dividing them with you. LOL. Good post, Arkie.

My grandmother always said that about dreams. I wake up laughing and don't know why I'm laughing. A few times, I knew without a doubt a dream was a message from God.

Here you are, wishing you didn't remember your dreams, and I wish I remembered what I ate for supper. (Just kidding)
I have had two off and on dreams since I was a child, which I wish I didn't. They're not as vivid and detailed as they once were, but I still think of them sometimes and wonder what in the world brought them on in the first place.
Your octelle flows well, and I hope your psyche either leaves you alone, or you figure out her message. And THEN she leaves you alone. :)

I've had a couple of dreams I felt were messages, and keep them in my heart. I don't usually remember my dreams, and I don't think I've ever had a nightmare. I wake up laughing a lot and don't know what I'm laughing about. Frustrating. lol. Thanks for a great review.

Cleverly composed poem to which I can relate. Sometimes I wonder where these dreams are found? Often non sensical but clearly with a message.

Yes! And sometimes even longer. Usually, it's a reminder to pray for someone that I hadn't thought of in years!
