Yes, mirrors don't lie. If I am having trouble with perspective in my painting, show it to the mirror, immediately picks up the mistake. Mirror, mirror on the wall who is the biggest mistake of all? Patricia isn't a mistake, she is a blessing. K xx

Thank UK for your wonderful review. And for your nice comment at the end about me being a blessing. I am happy to be a blessing to others. We all need to hear at times and others feel. We are blessings

Ooh scary. Yes when I look in the mirror these days I prefer not to wear my glasses. A very meaningful poem. Very well written and presented. Best wishes. Jen.

Thank you for your kind review . It is always appreciated when somebody looks at my work and reviews it. I am with you about putting your glasses on when you look at the mirror. For me, however, that I cannot see the wrinkles in my face and less I get to magnified mirror, which I very seldom do. Patricia.

This is well expressed. It leaves it open for the reader to project their personal self assessment to ascertain what the speaker might be referring to what they think might need adjusting. A good topic.

You did a great job with your poem, Patricia.
I enjoyed reading it and totally agree. You gave
readers much to think about. Hopefully, they
understood and next time they look in the mirror,
they see improvement.
Thanks for sharing, Jan

Plain and simple and to the point. Most things that go awry in our lives can more often than not be as you write, the fault of the person in the mirror. As a suggestion I would edit and make the font size larger.

Thank you for your review. I need to change it a bit. I need to add a photo and change the size of the font colors. Thanks for the reminder.

That's a clever realization. I liked that you used the mirror and yes, we all need that honest look at ourselves so that we can go to the Lord for help and His forgiveness.

A fun write as we see the truth in our own eyes when problems knock at our door and we can read it on our faces.

A suggestion for this line Patricia:

As (they're) staring back at me.

Love Dolly x

This is a cute poem. I think we are almost always the source of our own problems. I think you are someone who also has the answer to your problems and that good thing.

well, I think that holds true for us all, unfortunately. But it is disconcerting and too bad when we have to admit it. :) Much more fun to lay the blame on somebody or something else.
Cute poem. You get a gold star!!

Thank you for your wonderful review. I recited this to my pastor this morning and he said the source of his problem was his wife standing behind him. Ouch.

Oh my. Such big truths contained in such brevity. If only we could all see with such open eyes. This should be a mantra for all to learn. I loved it, but also felt the pain of knowing the sad reality of it. Great work!

Thank you for your very thoughtful review. It is much appreciated. When I look in the mirror I don?t see very much at all really because of my vision problems.
