I enjoyed reading this chapter. I am getting to know the characters better. It seems Willow is the wise one. I do not see any room for improvement. Have a blessed day.

Author has visionary power as order of keen sentiment even for about animal such as dogs; power of thinking or planning goes on infinitely; like that when one thinks of something, at the same time other one may be hatching other plans; well said; Review, write for, dedicate post to your God, use time more today; ALCREATOR LITT DEAR (DR)

I laughed at "Bea was seriously considering changing Sweet Puppy's name to Not So Sweet Puppy." It does sound like a good idea to notice the transition phases such as the abrupt returning home. If it seemed like Bea was already home, they were not competing to get her attention. It's always good for Bea to have talks with Willow!

Suggestions:
This sentence ran on a bit and wondered if it could be made clearer in two sentences? " In case you do not know who I am, I am the narrarator who was long ago, introduced to Bea by Timothy her furniture carving, clay pot making beaver who had a lodge in what Bea named Timothy's Pond."

Thank you for your perceptive review. I used a tiny squirt gun on Sweet Puppy to train her not to hassle scruffles and would say, "Don't hurt 'baby brother" It got so any cat we saw was called baby brother. She even must have stunned the cat across the road when she touched noses with him. So funny & so precious. I actually had to make sure they were in different areas when I came into the house. It was a bit scary. They fought viciously. Zoe's truth will come out in future chapters.

Thank you for sharing this with us. I enjoyed reading. You did a good job writing.

introduced to Bea by Timothy her furniture carving, clay (comma needed after 'Timothy')

It wasn't that long ago that Sweet Puppy could have forgotten (You can omit the second 'that'. It isn't needed.)

Hi Liz, this is the first time I've read this story, it's delightful! I'll have to catch up. I like the way you use different animals and show how they overcome their differences and become friends. The tips that Willow gives out are useful for human carers and parents. What a clever idea to have this written this way. It will delight children and they will learn from it too. Well done!!! :)) Sandra xx

I couldn't work out what was wrong with this sentence. But I think it's missing a word. Perhaps replacing 'ever' to 'to'?
...for Bea. What was she ever do?
