What an informative and well-written chapter, Gretchen.
I enjoyed reading it. You gave readers so much detailed
information in an exciting way. I wonder what Missy has
on Tyler that forced him to go along with her plan to get
Miranda. Haynes Pond isn't the place I would want to be
ever. Miranda did some quick thinking convincing Missy
to leave Tyler in the car. I hope he has the strength to use
his phone. Miranda knows the pond better than Missy, so
she should be able to come up with something to save
herself (maybe with help from Mitch).
Thanks for sharing, Jan

I doubt Missy told Tyler about her plan. Again thank you for this awesome review. Gretchen

I certainly hope he has his cell phone and can use it very quickly. Missy is sharp and clever but Miranda is sharper. Excellent dialogue, very realistic and sounds authentic. Well done. Looking forward to the next.

Tyler is naive but he isn't done. I kind of hope he steals the car" her baby". That might get her attention long enough for Miranda to get away. Who knows. Thanks for this nice review. Gretchen

If you DON'T send this out for publication, I'll never forgive you. This is so damned good! I can't wait to read the final chapter. You have created an iconic villain in Missy, and like a master writer of thrillers, you know how to milk this chapter for all its worth.

Well, I can't not send it off now. Not with your threat hanging over my head. Lol. Thank you for this. Gretchen

I can see this in a script what with the strong dialogue that advances the plot. Able to learn much about the character through the interaction and dialogue. This is an aspect of strong writing when using dialogue for the right splash to a plot.

Thank you. I'm no script writer but I appreciate the compliment to the dialogue. Gretchen

Oh, damn! Missy, luckily, is not the brightest bulb in the bunch, leaving Tyler with his cell phone. On the other hand, Miranda is quite savvy in getting these confessions out of Missy. I love this story, Gretchen. Best, JohnC

Wow! What a chapter this was. I started on it last night but just got finished. How dramatic this is all turning out to be. You are a clever writer. Bob Hartson would be proud of you.(the late Mastery.) No spags.

Well, you've left us readers waiting and wondering did Tyler call 911 or not. Will the emergency lights come a flashing or will they be too late to save Miranda? I think we know the answer. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

Well, I guess more information needed to be conveyed to the readers. I did briefly wonder why she just didn't crash or flip the car over. Yes, Tyler would be more hurt but, at least she had some power and control at that point. I guess I'll find out soon.

I think Miranda wouldn't do something like that because Tyler was already hurt and Missy could kill him. She wouldn't be able to live with herself.

Wow! At last! Missy has unloaded with what happened to Jason. Ed got rid of the body for her, evidently. I have an idea how too. LOL I'm not too worried about Miranda. I think she can hold her own with Missy. They should have put a tourniquet on Tyler's leg though. Well done. Nancy:)

Thanks, Nancy. It's hopefully all coming together. Lots of loose ends but not much longer. Thank you so much for the nice review and rating. Gretchen

Let's sure hope Tyler makes the call and Mitch gets there in time to save Miranda. I'm going to hate this story to end. I have become very fond of Miranda. Maybe there's a sequel in the works.

"You know where that is right " (that is, right?")

Thank you. I'm going to miss her too. Lol. But she's helped me to deal with my personal narcissist. Who knows she might come back in a story or two. Thanks for this. Gretchen

I can see her getting into trouble, often and working her way out of it. LOL
