Well penned. Silence truly presents us with opportunity for reflection and wisdom. I found this apt for my own country and its people as they go into presidential election this Saturday after years of horror of failed leadership, the young having taken their fate in their hands are sending strong message to the old hawks with rekindled hope of better outcome. They have gained immense wisdom from their silence of past years of terror and hardship in the hands of the politicians. Lol.

I wish for you and your peoples that possible change with a youthful, energetic, responsible group can lead from there heart not there bank accounts, unlike the stay forever politician in the US.

Wow! This is another stellar entry to this contest. Now I'll be really stumped to vote on this. Fabulous Glosa poem and I liked how you described society today especially in these lines:
The senseless strains of today's hopes and dreams;
youth lost in the vortex of failed systems,
And how you used the poem's quoted line at the end was perfect! Hope this does well in the contest!
However, as daunting as this, might sound (remove comma after 'this')

Hi Brandon, thanks caught the comma, I intended to use egoic as this means the person not the people. And the original poet used the an flowing so did not feel I have poetic license to change his words. I sure value each of your thorough insights, Be well!
