This was a fun flash fiction. I can't imagine somebody going to a lecture at midnight. Going to collect the one that was not in the shape to drive. Just guessing.Patricia

I like it that he was driving on "High Street." I guess he was high on something that the police pulled him over. And perhaps his wife is not really successful in teaching him to care for himself better. Best wishes in the contest!
