I am way behind on reviewing but thought I would pop in. I like this poem on FanStory contests. It is a fun and honest well rhymed account at the entries and outcomes of winners... and losers. I do wonder who is on the committee myself. Oops, am I allowed to even think that?

Competition here is tremendous to the point of Venomous.
As soon as you write something beautiful and no in your heart, it should win?
And then you find out because of some stupid little rule it then becomes nothing with a sin!
...
Well written rich in Theme and Imagery.
It also, read well and Flowed well with no Grammar Issues.

That's a very nice thing to say. But I have seen contest wins with errors. We are all people and all of us make mistakes so that shouldn't keep anyone from entering the contests! Best wishes in this one!

sometimes I wonder about that. there are truly fine works that are rewarded and then some that get overlooked. I think it`s the audience on that particular day and overall wholesomeness in most entries. No doubt, all what you reference is certainly true as well.
