This is a very good rat that you have written about. I agree with you that there are scammers out there who take advantage of so many different people for different reasons. I believe the scammers that I hate the worst are those who prey on the senior citizens. Many of those senior citizens have lost many dollars to the uncouth wiles of the scammers. Patricia.

This is a very good rat that you have written about. I agree with you that there are scammers out there who take advantage of so many different people for different reasons. Yes scammers they come up with all kinds of gimmicks and ways it means that squeeze people for money. I think all of us including myself have been a victim at least once. Gotta get these POS's out and gone!! Good rant!! Really good subject manner as it is very prevalent today only getting worse!!

My grandpa used to say there is one born every minute to s am you out of your money and your long John's before you say don't do it.people want to love and be loved and sadly they end up being fleeced y being taken in by them wanting every red cent you earn.telegraph marketers are great for trying to make you pay for something you did not order.they are out there just waiting every where there is a street corner.Grandpa said it right charity begins at home.

Your first paragraph is descriptive and chilling Crystie and it drew me in to read more. Then I read your second paragraph which I found totally shocking, how some people behave just to make a fast buck is unbelievable.
We have telephone scammers in the UK who have actually persuaded people to transfer all their savings into another account by being told that their bank account has been compromised. I have heard these calls and they are so believable and sound like they are really helping the customer with their kindness. Of course people have lost all their money!
I was scammed once by an email that seemed like it was the BBC TV Licensing Authority, it said that I had not paid my TV licence. Without checking I gave them all the information they needed to take money from my account. This happened on a Saturday and Monday morning I received the same email again which made me suspicious and I was able to stop any transactions leaving my account and I cancelled my card. The result since is that I have been targeted by numerous emails all trying to do the same thing because they think I am an easy target!
I learned a valuable lesson and I never talk to anyone on the phone who is cold calling.
Your write is so interesting and essential for others to read in the hope it will make people aware that some will do anything to steal money from your purse.
