I am touched beyond words by your heartfelt expression of love and loss.
As a mum to six beautiful girls (now all grown up) and nanna to seven granddaughters and one grandson your sense of loss feels so tangible for I cannot imagine being without them.
One special grandson was chosen to be an angel before he was born and I feel such sadness for my daughter who has since been unable to conceive.
My heart aches for him also.

How utterly devastating! I was pulled into your story because Kristen's birth was so much like our Christine's birth, after 26 hours of labor, then a C-section. But then to have your beautiful daughter be taken from you 45 minutes after birth is just too hard to imagine. You do a great thing to celebrate her birth and visit her grave.

What a very sad story, and I offer my condolences for I am sure you still miss her so greatly, and hold her in your hearts. She is just a little younger than my eldest. I am sure that in due course you will see this loved one again. Beautifully written.
