Now I See
A deep poem reflecting on the power of mindfulness.5 total reviews

To me, mindfulness is living each moment conscious of the experience, good, bad, or indifferent. The poem conflicted with the real meaning of mindfulness. The poet makes it sound as if the only way to achieve mindfulness is in the quietude of Zen, but Zen is a continuous progression of knowing that all is well, and I am.

Life does seem to float us along to where we don't want to be, and it's a struggle to get back. But there's always hope. What a wonderfully written poem.
Good luck in g the contest!
Have a great day, and God bless.

This sounds like extreme anxiety as the past lays heavy and you can't cope with the present. Staying in control of your emotions helps us process life, I wish you luck, love Dolly x

Thought provoking read. I really enjoyed this poem and appreciate the obvious lengths you went to in an attempt to explain to others what mindfulness and meditation is all about. All consuming you become free. You must completely trust in the process. I believe you have done a great job in getting your message across.

In places the language is a little confusing. However, the poet suggests that there is no need to surrender to pain or despair or to dwell on past errors. There is always something to be learnt!
