You've told a sad tale of the times in concise and direct language. Instead of figuring out how to get along, there are turf wars and it appears there is no escaping them. Even those not in the gang are involved.

A reward perhaps brought some cash in the pocket for the man in question. I remember seeing posters back in our growing up days. Dead or alive. Perhaps this man would question what they would do to him if he collected the reward.

This is a good entry into the 80-word flash contest. The text is a great size. The story is well-told and, the plot doesn't seem rushed. That's a feat in 80 words. Sounds like your character Sean needs to get out of that barber chair ASAP. The visual fits perfectly. Good luck in the contest.

How stupid would Sean have to be to do that? The mind boggles.
Photos were distributed to all the Capo's alerting- no apostrophe needed here, it's just a plural.

People don't actually think about the aftermath when they left Ireland the great potato famine.
It wasn't a lot better when they ended up over here. Either disgrace of the American people treat them the way that they did. And whoever else put it in any other country is right there with them. You're a good submission. I don't see any issues with your spelling grammar or punctuation think. It's done quite well and I wish you all the best in the competition how great night!
