I enjoyed the humorous sections of your letter, and it also had some noteworthy serious sections. You mentioned family, church, and good bosses, and I could just hear God reminding both of us that He has blessed us well. Best wishes in the contest. Carol

Thank you for your thoughtful comments. Yes, my vision of God is that he would have a sense of humor - especially when considering a man like me. It was both fun and fulfilling to write. Glad you stopped by.

Yes, I also think God has a great sense of humor. Glad you had fun writing this post.

Reese, you get my last star this week. I certainly don't know all the answers; not even sure I know any. But I did love your letter for its humor, creativity, and for the way you presented God's understanding of mankind. Thank you for entering the contest. Terry.

Mr. Broxson, you are indeed more friend/fan than I deserve. Thanks so much. I rarely respond to religious prompts, but this one allowed perception of the issue, not the Lord's law. It was a wonderful writing afternoon. My wife was out with the grands so I had no adult supervision, a sip of a sassy, but not obtrusive vino,
and the challenge of what He might write to me. Cut some great one-liners as being just too cute, but they are filed for future. Anyway, a 6 is always an honor, but more honor is your endorsement of my imagination. Thank you and God Bless.

Reese, I must confess for me to create a "religious" contest would be more rare than you responding to one.
I was very pleased with the entries, and there are some good ones.
I did grow up in the Baptist Church, but I did escape when I was 18, almost 60 years ago. If I did get a letter from God, it would read something like yours, but probably a little sterner and more pointed.
I don't know who to vote for, but good luck. Terry.

This an old phrase I have heard many times as a young boy coming up to manhood. Good letter to the Master. Amazing how He knows all. Thanks for sharing.

This is very well written about this of course. Of course there's golf in heaven everything we can think of is in heaven as long as it's a good thing of course well written I'm lovely. This story speaks to me of the inevitable aging process because of the perhaps in the dance. I'm sorrow love and hope struggle paying heart ache, all of those things combined add up to human life and it feels Like all those things mixed up in one. It all looks good instead of mistaking I don't find any grammatical errors per se. I do things which is very well written and I wish you the best of luck. Thank you and have a great day!
