This acrostic poem, A LITTLE BOY FOUND, has the proper formatting and tells the story of an abandoned child's rescue saving two lives --Mother and child.

Wonderful poem entry for the Acrostic Poetry Contest. Good form, you followed the rules well.

I love the imagery and presentation.

Goodluck!

I think when God gives a young life to nurture and sustain, it is singularly the best gift that can be given, because our lives are so short, the only way to lengthen them is to leave a legacy of love. This is a beautifully written acrostic my friend, good luck, blessings Roy

nicely done acrostic poem - I like the format, and the theme, that something good can come out of something bad, that a child being abandoned at birth can bring so much joy to those who find and raise him.

You did a great job with your acrostic for the contest,
Kahpot. I enjoyed reading it, though it was poignant.
I'm happy the little baby and the woman who found
him both got a second chance at life. Your color scheme
and use of rhyme worked well. Many acrostics read as a list.
However, yours told a story, and the rhymes were an added
bonus.
Thanks for sharing and best wishes in the contest, Jan

What a beautiful story! So a woman adopted an abandoned baby boy and in giving love to this boy she found joy in life. I wasn't sure about the last stanza but does it mean that the baby was really her son?
Best wishes in the contest!

Thank you very much, no the court decided that the maternal mother was not fit, so boy got to live with the only mother he knew, though it started illegally, she won the right to adopt, as always very much appreciated****kahpot

This is a fine acrostic telling the story of two lives meeting in a moment of sadness and which brought light to both.

Very well done, and I wish you great luck with the voters. :))

Well done! You told a heartbreaking story in an acrostic poem and you told it well! This is a great way to tell us about an issue that needs to be brought to our attention. The lost children of the world need love and support from whoever comes along to find them.
You have written a meaningful piece and I applaud you!
Jesse

Dang. I wish I could reason what you wrote. It's strange. Maybe, a cup of Jo would waken me to read a second time. Oops, I don't drink coffee. Moving on. I get the acrostics, but the story leaves me baffled. Mea culpa, please.
