This poem gives a graphic picture of those who face life by using drugs. You set the scene vividly in the park with your close-up of what's under the bench. Most impressive is the fact this is a Rondeau, a very challenging form and your rhymes are not forced. Rod

You have used an artist's touch in writing this poem. Your words have painted a picture of a myriad of emotions and caused this reader to feel them all. The pain, hopelessness, and loss of the masses of people who suffer from substance abuse are heartbreaking. You did a perfect job of describing the horror of those who live that life endures.

This is a skilfully written chilling write about today's curse of drug addiction and that hopelessness kills with its damning disposal of life of the young and vulnerable. I reckon this could be a winner for the contest, love Dolly x
